About this resource

About

TD Snap is Tobii Dynavox's comprehensive AAC platform, available both on the company's dedicated communication devices and as a subscription app for iPad. It brings together multiple vocabulary systems under one interface and supports any access method—touch, eye gaze, or switch scanning.

What It Does

TD Snap ships with built-in page sets including Core First, Motor Plan, Express, Text, Scanning, and Aphasia, with third-party systems such as PODD and Gateway available as in-app purchases. Integrated Google Assistant lets users control smart-home devices and query the internet directly from their AAC system. Intuitive editing, visual supports, and rapid search tools allow communication partners to customise vocabulary quickly.

Who It Helps

TD Snap is designed for people with autism, cerebral palsy, aphasia, ALS, and other conditions that affect speech. Its support for touch, eye gaze, and switch scanning makes it accessible across a wide range of physical abilities, from early AAC learners to experienced communicators requiring robust, multi-modal access.
