About this resource

About

TD Snap is the primary AAC platform from Tobii Dynavox, a world leader in eye gaze technology and speech-generating devices. The software powers both standalone tablet apps and dedicated Tobii Dynavox hardware, giving users a consistent experience whether using their own iPad or a funded device.

What It Does

TD Snap ships with a library of evidence-based page sets: Core First (symbol-based), Motor Plan, Express, Text, Scanning, and Aphasia. Third-party vocabularies such as PODD and Gateway are available as in-app purchases. All page sets support touch, eye gaze, and switch access. A Google Assistant integration enables smart home and environmental control. Easy editing tools allow SLPs and caregivers to customize boards. A one-month free trial is included before the subscription activates.

Who It Helps

Suitable for children and adults with autism, cerebral palsy, aphasia, ALS, and any complex communication need. Particularly powerful for individuals who rely on eye gaze as their primary access method.
