About this resource

About

Invented by a licensed psychologist, WatchMinder has been recommended by occupational therapists, special education teachers, and disability organisations for over two decades. The WatchMinder 3 and MINI models are sold via the official website and selected AT retailers. The device does not require a smartphone connection or subscription.

What It Does

Users programme up to 30 labelled vibrating reminders directly on the watch face. Reminders can fire at fixed intervals (Training Mode — useful for focus checks or bladder timing) or at specific times of day. Custom on-screen messages such as "FOCUS", "MEDS", "DEEP BREATH", or "STAND UP" scroll across the display alongside the vibration, providing a discreet, non-audible cue.

Who It Helps

Children and adults with ADHD, autism, TBI, chronic illness requiring medication or condition management, and individuals with hearing impairments who benefit from tactile alerts. Widely used in school and workplace settings where audible reminders are disruptive. Also used by caregivers to support habit-building in children with developmental disabilities.
