About this resource

About

Formerly known as DisabledGo, AccessAble has spent over two decades building one of the most comprehensive disability access databases in the world. Unlike platforms that rely on self-reported accessibility claims, AccessAble employs trained surveyors to conduct in-person assessments of every venue listed — ensuring the information is accurate and standardised.

What It Does

Each guide details step-free routes, door widths, accessible toilet provision, hearing loop availability, Braille signage, parking, and much more. Coverage spans shops, pubs, cinemas, theatres, railway stations, colleges, hospitals, and GP surgeries. Users of the free iOS and Android app can filter by their specific access needs — mobility, hearing, vision, or other requirements — to find venues that genuinely suit them.

Who It Helps

People with mobility impairments, wheelchair users, blind and visually impaired individuals, D/deaf users, and anyone with a disability who wants reliable, detail-rich venue accessibility information before visiting a new place.
