About this resource

About

Accessible Games was founded by Jacob Wood to create a permanent, community-owned space where disability and tabletop roleplaying intersect openly and positively. Wood launched Accessible Gaming Quarterly in 2020 as the world's first zine dedicated exclusively to disability and inclusion in the tabletop RPG hobby.

What It Does

The organisation publishes Accessible Gaming Quarterly on a quarterly schedule in both digital and print formats — each issue featuring essays, tips and tricks, creative ideas, illustrations, interviews, and Q&As by disabled contributors. To date the zine has published over 120,000 words across 618 pages and 85 articles. Accessible Games also produces tabletop RPG titles designed with accessibility at their core and offers community discounts tied to Global Accessibility Awareness Day.

Who It Helps

Disabled and neurodivergent tabletop roleplaying game players, allies who want to learn from disabled voices, and game designers and publishers seeking guidance on building more accessible products.
