About this resource

About

accessibleGO was founded by Miriam Eljas, whose mother Emma used a wheelchair due to multiple sclerosis, and has grown into the first full-service disability-focused travel site in the US. The platform holds proprietary accessibility data on more than 6,000 US hotels and offers exclusive discounted rates of up to 60% for members.

What It Does

Travelers can book accessible hotel rooms, flights, rental cars with hand controls, wheelchair van rentals, mobility equipment, and concierge ride services all in one place. Once a reservation is made, an accessibleGO team member personally calls each vendor to verify that the stated accessibility features are in place before arrival.

Who It Helps

accessibleGO primarily serves wheelchair users and people with mobility impairments who require verified accessible accommodations and transportation. The platform's active community forum also lets members share tips and organize trips together.
