About this resource

About

Founded in 2013, ArtLifting is a public benefit corporation that builds scalable art programmes for corporations while creating economic opportunity for artists with disabilities. The organisation partners with major companies across North America to place artwork by artists with disabilities in offices, healthcare facilities, hotels, and public spaces.

What It Does

ArtLifting connects corporations with artwork from 500+ artists with disabilities through art rentals, fine art prints, original artwork, custom commissions, murals, and wallcoverings. Artists earn 55% of profits from all sales and royalties. The Community Impact Fund, fed by 1% of every sale, supports disability arts programmes nationwide and has distributed over $450,000 to date.

Who It Helps

Artists with a wide range of disabilities — including physical, psychiatric, and developmental — who are seeking economic opportunity and professional recognition for their creative work, as well as buyers and organisations seeking to invest in disability-led art.
