The Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) has been delivering personalised adaptive ski and snowboard experiences from its base in Breckenridge, Colorado for nearly 50 years. BOEC holds a national and international reputation for excellence in adaptive outdoor education, and follows PSIA and AASI teaching guidelines.
BOEC provides adaptive ski and snowboard lessons at Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, and Arapahoe Basin ski areas. Lessons include one-on-one instruction, all specialised adaptive equipment, and a lift ticket for the student. Half-day and full-day options are available for all skill levels from first-timers to advanced skiers aged 4 and up.
BOEC serves individuals aged 4 and older with physical, cognitive, sensory, and behavioural disabilities. The programme also provides lessons for veterans with service-related injuries and disabilities.
Music and Memory trains care facilities and families to create personalised playlists for people with dementia and other cognitive conditions, helping them reconnect with memories, reduce anxiety, and improve quality of life. Over 5,800 organisations across the US and internationally have been certified in their programme since 2010.
