About
The Disability Visibility Project was created to fill a gap: the near-total absence of authentic disability voices in mainstream media and cultural discourse. Founded in partnership with StoryCorps, the project began as an oral history initiative and has expanded into a multifaceted media organisation producing a podcast, anthologies, essays, community visual projects, and educational resources. All content is grounded in disability justice principles and centres intersectionality.
