About this resource

About

The DOTS RPG Project was founded in memory of D, a blind TTRPG player whose wish to roll dice and play independently inspired creator Jack to find a solution. Operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, DOTS channels all product profits back into dice donations, equipment purchases, and accessibility advocacy for the tabletop community.

What It Does

After five years of prototype testing with real users, DOTS launched the world's first mass-produced braille polyhedral dice in December 2024, available through production partner Die Hard Dice. The project also provides free guides on adapting materials for screen readers, designing tactile resources, and making character sheets accessible to blind players.

Who It Helps

Blind and visually impaired tabletop RPG players who want to roll dice and join campaigns independently. Publishers and game designers who want to make their products more accessible are also supported through DOTS' free design guidance and community connections.
