About
Eagle Mount Bozeman is a Montana-based non-profit organisation providing therapeutic recreational programmes for people with disabilities and those affected by cancer. With independent Eagle Mount organisations also operating in Billings and Great Falls, the Bozeman chapter is the flagship location, running programmes across multiple world-class Montana resorts.
What It Does
Eagle Mount offers adaptive alpine skiing and snowboarding at Bridger Bowl Ski Area and Big Sky Resort, as well as Nordic skiing and snowshoeing at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center. Monoski camps, veterans programming, and a dedicated Big Sky Kids programme round out the winter offerings. Lessons are structured for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced adaptive athletes. Summer programming includes adaptive mountain biking, climbing, aquatics, and horsemanship.
Who It Helps
Eagle Mount serves children and adults with a wide range of disabilities including spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, developmental disabilities, autism, and visual impairments, as well as individuals undergoing cancer treatment or recovery. All abilities and experience levels are welcome, and no prior snow sports experience is necessary.
