About this resource

About

Founded in 2018, Knights of the Braille brings together blind, visually impaired, and sighted tabletop roleplaying game players united by a commitment to making the hobby accessible to everyone. The organisation hosts weekly Dungeons & Dragons campaigns run by and for BVI players and regularly publishes updated guides addressing the practical challenges of accessible tabletop play.

What It Does

The website provides curated lists of screen-reader-accessible tabletop games, guides on accessible dice and dungeon-mapping for blind players, and a broader resource directory for the BVI gaming community. An active Discord server offers real-time community discussion, peer support, and campaign coordination for blind and visually impaired gamers and their sighted companions. New guides and resources were published as recently as November 2025.

Who It Helps

Primarily serving blind and visually impaired tabletop RPG players, Knights of the Braille also welcomes sighted players who want to game inclusively with BVI friends, family members, or fellow gamers.
