About this resource

About

Founded in 2010, Make Studio operates a fully accessible 5,000 sq ft studio in Baltimore, Maryland dedicated to providing inclusive arts programming to people with disabilities. The organisation is a recognised leader in community-based disability arts on the East Coast.

What It Does

Make Studio offers studio-based arts programming in fine art, ceramics, printmaking, and other media alongside public-facing inclusive arts activities. An online shop enables artists to sell their work to buyers across the country. The studio also hosts community events, exhibitions, and collaborative projects that bring disabled and non-disabled artists together.

Who It Helps

Make Studio serves adults and youth with disabilities of any kind in the Baltimore area. Sliding-scale programme fees and scholarship support are available to ensure financial barriers do not prevent participation.
