About

The Society for Accessible Travel & Hospitality (SATH) was founded in 1976 and is the oldest nonprofit dedicated to accessible travel in the United States. SATH works with the travel industry to increase accessibility across airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and destinations.

What It Does

SATH provides a free traveller information service responding to queries about accessible destinations and planning, maintains a directory of travel agents and tour operators experienced with disability travel, publishes Open World magazine for accessible travel, and advocates with airlines, hotel chains, and policymakers for better accessibility standards.

Who It Helps

People with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities who travel or want to travel — both domestically and internationally. Also serves travel industry professionals who want to improve their accessibility offering.
