About this resource

About

SCI Total Fitness is the first online exercise platform built exclusively for people living with spinal cord injuries, developed by physical therapist Kristin McNealus, DPT, MBA. McNealus built the service so that patients could continue structured, evidence-informed fitness programmes after leaving inpatient rehabilitation.

What It Does

The subscription video library includes multi-level strength, aerobics, and yoga workouts performable from a wheelchair or seated position. Programmes are tiered to different injury levels and abilities, and all sessions are led by a specialist PT who understands spinal cord injury physiology.

Who It Helps

SCI Total Fitness is designed for people with spinal cord injuries and paralysis, including paraplegic and quadriplegic users, who want structured fitness programmes adapted to their specific mobility level.
