About this resource

About

Yoga Moves Any Body (formerly Yoga Moves MS) was founded by Mindy Eisenberg, MHSA, C-IAYT, ERYT-500, whose personal connection to MS — growing up with a mother who had the condition — drove her to develop a specialized adaptive yoga approach. More than 20 years old, the organization evolved its name to reflect its expanded service to people with any neuromuscular or movement-affecting condition.

What It Does

The organization offers free live online Zoom classes, on-demand recorded sessions, and in-person classes at multiple metro Detroit locations including Troy, Franklin, Livonia, Farmington, and Grosse Pointe. All classes focus on building mobility, balance, strength, and social connection through adapted yoga practices. Classes are free or donation-based, prioritizing financial accessibility.

Who It Helps

People with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, stroke, spinal cord injury, and other neuromuscular and movement-limiting conditions. In-person programs serve the metro Detroit area; online and on-demand classes are available to adults anywhere.
