About this resource

About

Yoga Moves MS — now operating under the name Yoga Moves Any Body — is a Detroit-area nonprofit founded by Mindy Eisenberg, a certified yoga therapist who has specialised in adaptive yoga for over a decade. The organisation grew from a local MS support group into a nationally recognised programme delivering over 5,000 hours of adaptive yoga annually.

What It Does

Yoga Moves Any Body offers live online adaptive yoga six days a week via Zoom, with a growing on-demand library available any time. Every session is adaptable: teachers guide participants through seated, standing, and mat variations so each student works at their own level. The organisation also offers instructor training and a holistic wellness forum for those with neuromuscular conditions.

Who It Helps

Adults living with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and other neuromuscular conditions. Classes build strength, flexibility, balance, and mental resilience while accommodating a wide spectrum of physical abilities, including full wheelchair users.
